Jan 2007
MINNEAPOLIS – Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. is pleased to announce that Michael V. Ciresi, Jan M. Conlin, John F. Eisberg, Kathleen Flynn Peterson, Ronald J. Schutz and Lawrence Farese have been named to the Lawdragon 3000 Leading Plaintiffs' Lawyers in America.
According to Lawdragon, The Lawdragon 3000 Leading Plaintiffs' Lawyers in America is the first publication to offer a comprehensive look at those lawyers who represent plaintiffs in cases ranging from medical malpractice to securities class actions, often with multi-million dollar results. It is comprised of lawyers from a wide range of practices, ranging from employment discrimination to toxic torts, aviation disasters to birth negligence. Those named to the list represent less than one-half of one percent of the legal profession, placing them among the most elite group of legal professionals.
"We are honored that our peers and clients nominated and voted for several partners from the firm for this survey. Our representation of plaintiffs in cases involving medical malpractice, business trial and litigation, intellectual property litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, property damage and much more continues to be a significant strength of the firm," said Michael V. Ciresi, the firm's chairman.
More than 10,000 attorneys were nominated for the list by their peers and the Lawdragon editorial staff, who selected nearly 1,600 finalists, featured as members of the "Lawdragon 3000" at Lawdragon.com. Lawdragon selected the nation's leading plaintiffs' lawyers based on a proprietary system that takes into account dozens of qualifications that are scored to determine the best lawyers nationwide. Among the factors utilized in the list's selection are extensive research by a staff of award-winning journalists who interview thousands of lawyers nationwide and a survey of lawyers and clients who nominate and vote for their peers online.
"The Lawdragon rankings are intended to inform the public of the nation’s top legal professionals who work chiefly on behalf of the little guy who has been denied disability or medical coverage, suffered financial loss from corporate fraud or dozens of other problems that beset the average American. We are enormously proud of the lawyers that we are honoring this year as the best in the country," said Katrina Dewey, CEO of Lawdragon.
