Represented Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in defense of patent infringement claims brought by Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI) in the Western District of Wisconsin. The case involved three patents in the area of graphics processors. District Court granted summary judgment of non-infringement of all three patents.
Represented Honeywell International in defense of patent infringement claims brought by Sharper Image in the Northern District of California related to ionic air cleaning technology.
Represented Intergraph Corp. in patent litigation involving microprocessor system design in a case venued in the Eastern District of Texas. Recovered over 440 million dollars in settlements from Hewlett Packard, Dell/Intel, Gateway, and others.
Represented Medtronic Sofomor Danek in two separate cases enforcing patents on medical instruments and implants for spinal fusion surgery.
Represented Radisson Hotels International in a case against Westin including patent infringement and theft of trade secret claims, relating to a computerized incentive program for reservations.
Represented Graco Inc. in the defense of a patent infringement claim brought by a competitor in the fluid and adhesive dispensing equipment industry.
Represented Texas Instruments in a patent infringement case involving missile guidance systems.
Represented Volvo Penta, the Swedish manufacturer of motorboat stern drive systems, in a patent infringement case against Brunswick involving dual, counter-rotating propeller drives.
