  • Practice focuses on complex business transactions and corporate governance.  

Other Experience

  • Nearly three decades in the Law Department of Unocal Corporation, a major independent natural gas and crude oil exploration and production company with principal operations in North America and Asia, serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. Developed corporate compliance program and directed corporate governance matters for the company. Spearheaded major expansion efforts for the company’s Law Department by placing lawyers in places as distant as VietNam, Bangladesh, the Philippines and Singapore and increased the Law Department presence in Indonesia and Thailand.
  • Prior to becoming General Counsel, served as Corporate Secretary and was the responsible executive for its investor relations and corporate insurance programs on a worldwide basis.
