Intergraph vs. Dell, Hewlett Packard and Gateway: Represented Intergraph Corp. in patent litigation involving microprocessor system design in a case venued in East Texas. Recovered a total of 440 million dollars in settlements as follows:
Hewlett Packard $141 million, with cross licenses;
Dell/Intel $225 million;
Gateway $12 million plus ongoing royalties;
AMD $15 million plus potential future royalty profits;
IBM $10 million plus a license to IBM’s portfolio;
Fujitsu $9.75 million;
Sony $15 million;
Acer $7.5 million; and
Other licenses
Settled for Honeywell a patent infringement case brought by a large competitor relating to air filters.
Recovered a client's domain name through a federal court action for domain name piracy.
Obtained summary judgment for a client in a high-profile breach of contract action.
Obtained judgment for a client in a complex commercial lease dispute after trial, which judgment was affirmed on appeal.
