Firm's Partner Appointed to the Judicial Council Advisory Committee on Civil Jury Instructions

LOS ANGELES (November 21, 2007) - Roman M. Silberfeld, managing partner of the Los Angeles office of the national law firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P., has been appointed to the Judicial Council Advisory Committee on Civil Jury Instruction.
The Advisory Committee is charged with maintaining, and as circumstances warrant, proposing amendments to the published jury instruction and is encouraged to solicit input and feedback from lawyers who have experience with the new instructions. The Advisory Committee is committed to reviewing and updating the civil instructions on an ongoing basis as experience with the instructions is gained in courtrooms across the state, and to ensure that the instructions reflect recent developments in the law.
Mr. Silberfeld has trial and appellate experience in complex civil litigation including business and high technology matters, product liability, professional negligence and mass tort litigation, with particular emphasis upon multi-state, multi-party, and class action litigation.
