Experience

  • Has litigated a variety of business litigation claims including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, unfair business practices, and violation of restrictive covenants.
  • Has litigated a wide variety of class action matters through discovery, certification briefing, final approval and appeal, including nationwide FLSA, TitleVII, consumer fraud and product liability matters.
  • Has litigation experience in Title VII, ADEA and ADA claims as well as state law claims of employment law, breach of contract, trade secrets, and violation of restrictive covenants.
  • Has drafted employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, employee handbooks, and anti-harassment policies. Has also conducted human resources audits covering personnel issues.
  • In insurance practice, has focused on ERISA claims involving the defense of insureds under life and disability policies.
  • Has lectured and written articles on various trade secret issues, and the dos and don'ts of hiring and firing, employment-related topics, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, sexual harassment, age discrimination, insurance coverage issues for employment law tort and reference check procedures.
