Michael Ciresi and Kathleen Flynn Peterson Recognized as Lawyers of the Year by Best Lawyers

MINNEAPOLIS - Michael Ciresi and Kathleen Flynn Peterson, partners in the Minneapolis office of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. were recently recognized by Best Lawyers as "Lawyers of the Year." Mr. Ciresi was named "Minneapolis Product Liability Litigator of the Year" for 2010 and Ms. Flynn Peterson was named "Minneapolis Medical Malpractice Lawyer of the Year," for 2010.
Best Lawyers is designating "Lawyers of the Year" in high-profile legal specialties in large legal communities. Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is being honored as "Lawyer of the Year. According to Best Lawyers, the list is compiled by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. The lawyers being honored as "Lawyers of the Year" have received particularly high rankings for their abilities, professionalism, and integrity.
Mr. Ciresi's trial practice focuses in the areas of product liability, intellectual property, business and commercial litigation. He has acted as counsel for corporations, individuals, and governmental entities throughout his career. Mr. Ciresi served on the firm's Executive Board from 1983-2008 and was its Chairman from 1995-2008.
Ms. Flynn Peterson is Chair of the Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Group. She represents individuals and families who have experienced injury or death as a result of medical negligence. She served as President of the American Association for Justice from 2007-2008.
