Richard Nigon Honored with Advancement of Justice Award

MINNEAPOLIS (May 9, 2008) - Richard Nigon, Chief Financial Officer at the national law firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller and Ciresi L.L.P., is the 2008 recipient of the Hennepin County Bar Association's (HCBA) "Advancement of Justice Award."
According to the HCBA's web site, the award is given by the HCBA to honor the work of an agency or individual who is not a lawyer. The award is given in recognition of contributions toward improving the administration of justice, achieving freedom through law, or increasing the public's understanding of the legal profession and the justice system.
Nigon is receiving the award for his involvement with the Children's Law Center of Minnesota and the Association of Legal Administrators. The award will be presented at the HCBA's annual meeting on Thursday, May 22.
