Thomas Kayser Appointed Co-Chair of Military Law Committee

MINNEAPOLIS (July 25, 2007) - Thomas C. Kayser, a partner in the Minneapolis office of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. has been appointed co-chair of the Military Law Committee, Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA).
Mr. Kayser's appointment took effect beginning July 1 and will continue through the 2007-2008 bar year. According to the MSBA, the Military Law Committee, among other responsibilities, gathers and disseminates information, shares expertise and advises the members of the Bar on all matters relating to the practice of military law in Minnesota.
"Through the years, Tom has demonstrated dedication, commitment, and leadership to his clients, his practice, and in his volunteerism; all qualities that will continue to serve him well as co-chair," said Steven A. Schumeister, Minneapolis managing partner. "We congratulate Tom on this accomplishment."
Mr. Kayser's practice focuses on employment, corporate, and constitutional litigation He was an officer in the United States Air Force (1958-1666) and a member of the United States Air Force Reserve (1967-1983). Mr. Kayser received his J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law, magna cum laude, and his B.A. from Lawrence College.
