Thomas Kayser Receives Volunteer of the Year Award

MINNEAPOLIS (May 16, 2007) - Thomas C. Kayser, a partner in the Minneapolis office of the national law firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P., was honored with the "2007 Volunteer of the Year Award" from Volunteer Lawyers Network for his outstanding volunteerism over the past year in the area of family law. 

According to Volunteer Lawyers Network, Mr. Kayser took on eight marital dissolution cases with children last year and is currently defending five low-income clients being sued in district court by large insurance companies.  He will be presented with the award in June during the Volunteer Lawyers Network annual meeting. 

Mr. Kayser's practice focuses on complex employment, antitrust, corporate, constitutional and negligence litigation.  He received his J.D. from St. Mary's School of Law, magna cum laude; and his B.A. from Lawrence College.
