In 1978, Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. opened the Atlanta office, the firm's first regional office. During its first decade, the office focused on representing national property insurers in complex industrial catastrophe claims. In 1987, the office began to diversify its practice. Today, the Atlanta office has a full complement of trial lawyers in multiple practice areas.
