Experience
Practice includes all aspects of patent litigation in a variety of technical areas, including medical devices, software, financial systems, electronics, lighting systems, Internet applications, and computer services and devices.
Prior to joining Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P., practice also included patent procurement in a wide range of technical areas, activities included conducting invention disclosure conferences, drafting patent applications, responses to office actions, pre-appeal briefs, patentability opinions, conducting examiner interviews, and drafting patent prosecution strategies for intellectual property portfolios.
During law school, selected as one of 14 students to participate in the 2-year Technical Innovation Generating Economic Results (TI:GER) program, involving specialized curriculum in a collaboration between Emory University School of Law and Georgia Institute of Technology, where she gained valuable knowledge of the essential relationship between technology, law, and business.
Prior to law school, worked as a Software Manager managing a development team to assure the functionality, usability, and delivery of the first .NET-based Human Capital Management Solution in production.
