Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. was recently ranked #3 on Law360's list of firms with the highest concentration of intellectual property practitioners.  The intellectual property litigation and licensing practice is the largest within the firm, with more than 90 percent of the IP work revolving around patent litigation, with the rest coming from trademark, copyright and trade secret matters. 

Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. has represented Honeywell Inc., Advanced Micro Devices Inc., Medtronic Inc., 3M Co., General Mills Inc., Best Buy Co. Inc., Alcatel-Lucent and TiVo Inc.  The firm has also secured several multimillion-dollar awards for St. Clair Intellectual Property Consultants Inc. in infringement cases against Canon Inc., Sony Corp. and Fuji Ltd. over digital camera patents.  In 2008, the firm secured an $89 million award for Grantley Patent Holdings Inc. in a patent infringement case against Clear Channel Communications, Inc.
