Melissa D’Alelio Selected to Participate in Women’s Leadership Initiative

Melissa D'Alelio, attorney in the firm's Boston office, has been selected by the Women's Bar Association (WBA) of Massachusetts to participate in the 2011-2012 Women's Leadership Initiative, a program that provides mentoring and leadership development for women attorneys in Massachusetts.   This honor is given only to those handful of women who are identified as talented and promising attorneys by the bar association.

WBA President Nancy Cremins said, "The WBA is proud that Melissa D'Alelio is a member of this new class of the Women's Leadership Initiative.  The program is directly aligned with the organization's goal of advancing women in the profession.  We are grateful to have the opportunity to extend this opportunity to such a promising group."

In her practice, Ms. D'Alelio advises insurance clients in all aspects of general liability and property coverage, and also defends insurance clients against extracontractual liability claims.  She has handled insurance defense, subrogation, and business litigation matters.  Ms. D'Alelio attended Northeastern University School of Law and studied English and Political Science at Mount Holyoke College.
