Legal Nurse Consultants
Call a Lawyer and Get a Nurse on Your Team
When you or a loved one have personal, private medical concerns to discuss, talking to a nurse who understands what you’ve been through can be invaluable. Our firm has long recognized the value of having Legal Nurse Consultants on staff. Our firm employs registered nurses dedicated to assisting injured individuals in claims involving medical malpractice and medical products or drugs.
Our Legal Nurse Consultant's first-hand knowledge and understanding of medicine and the health care system are invaluable to our lawyers and of course to our clients. Each claim involving medical issues has a Legal Nurse Consultant as part of the team representing the client involved from the very beginning. In fact, the nurse is often our client’s first contact with the firm.
Each of our Legal Nurse Consultants brings a wealth of individual experience to bear on behalf of our clients. Their collective experience includes emergency room, intensive care, obstetrics and newborn care, anesthesia and recovery room care, cardiology, and cancer care.
Our Legal Nurse Consultants have not only years of collective, hands-on practical experience, they also have at their disposal a large, in-house medical library and have access to our regional biomedical library systems. The nurses have at their desks computer resources linked to the National Library of Medicine, the National Institute of Health, the Food and Drug Administration, and other sources.
Our nurses all attend numerous medical education seminars each year and maintain current professional licensure. They collectively belong to a number of professional organizations including the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and Great Plains Perinatal Association, Association of Women's Health, Association of Emergency Room Nurses and Obstetrical and Neonatal Nurses.
